Opportunity to join Marketing Transformation and Delivery, a dynamic, highly visible group within Citi’s consumer bank marketing organization.  The marketing technology capabilities lead will support Citi’s digital marketing transformation efforts by supporting the roll-out and widescale adoption of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).    The capabilities lead will partner closely with internal stakeholders to implement existing marketing strategies in SFMC and to leverage new features available in the tool to deliver enhancements that improve the relevance and impact of each customer communication. The marketing technology capabilities lead will have ownership of the entire delivery timeline from discovery to deployment.  This role will partner closely with colleagues from across the marketing organization and requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure flawless execution and strict adherence to necessary process controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to execute campaigns/initiatives that drive increased conversions and greater customer engagement.
  • Develop deep trust-based advisor relationships with key stakeholders and provide thought leadership and impactful recommendations for campaign development on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Lead discussions with business stakeholders to define scope and requirements.
  • Lead cross functional team in the design and implementation of digital marketing campaigns on SFMC.  Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns are developed and executed flawlessly to meet business goals.
  • Own day-to-day project management from initial discovery through launch. Engage in developing campaign schedules, auditing, and applying critical thinking to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Assess problems, identify roadblocks and actionable opportunities, help design solutions and quantify potential impact.
  • Ensure that all proper approvals are obtained and controls completed for each campaign deployed.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in Digital Marketing.  Retail bank/financial services industry experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing platforms including email service providers, personalization engines, site analytics etc.  Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred.
  • Experience managing digital campaign design and execution in a variety of channels such as email, push notification and Citi Online.
  • Demonstrated history of successful project management including the tracking, planning, monitoring and reporting of projects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills including ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once, attention to detail and problem-solving skills in order to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills which can be leveraged to persuade and effectively lead impacted parties through change. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in successfully managing complex business transformation projects
  • Ability to maintain composure and presence in challenging situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree
