The Liquidity Transformation team within Treasury organization works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts for processes, controls, infrastructure and operational tool set required to support the day-to-day Liquidity Risk Management and reporting functions.  These functions include but are not limited to liquidity regulatory reporting and metrics, management reporting and liquidity stress testing, which span global Treasury groups, Finance functions, technology partners and business partners in ICG and PBWM.  The team is responsible for delivery of Treasury’s transformation objectives and collaborates with stakeholders to identify priorities, coordinate efforts and track progress, and define and implement best practices.

GLRS Data Transformation/Governance in the Liquidity Transformation team focuses all activities related to data sourcing, enrichment and governance on GLRS (=Global Liquidity Reporting System). 

GLRS Data Transformation / Governance is looking for an experienced Program / Project manager with strong data governance experience to manage the Data Governance Program, which includes change management deliverables and detailed plans.  The role will require familiarity with variety of project management approaches and interaction with senior program leads and sponsors, products, and functions globally.

Given the scale, complexity, and ambition of Citi’s global data transformation, the GLRS Data Transformation / Governance is dynamic, agile, flexible and responsive to fast changing needs. 

This role will need to be adept at working in this environment, handle ambiguity and complexity well, be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities and most importantly be extremely ‘hands on’.  Excellent communication skills are required in order to communicate and negotiate internally, often at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage data governance, and promote Citi’s firmwide Data Governance Policy compliance and improving accountability of data ownership
  • Centralize and maintain Data Dictionary for multiple reports out of GLRS, including Data Sources, CDEs, Data Concepts, Derivation Logic, etc. for any of regulatory, internal audit inquiries
  • Work with team members on detailed project plans/ timelines and co-ordinate sign-off of deliverables  
  • Build and develop relationships for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness, assist in defining new strategies and special projects
  • Track projects through the full lifecycle and ensure they are completed on time, to budget and adhere to the firm’s standards 
  • Contribute to best practices and own governance standards within the group
  • Coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the entire function including change management and communication across the team and broader Treasury
  • Promote the use of digital automated tools over manual processes and handoffs 

Qualifications:

  • 6-10+ years of relevant experience, within the banking or financial services industry
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others with the ability to engage a wide variety of people across functions and seniority
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instruction including managing through ambiguity
  • Ability to handle complexity, ambiguity and a fast changing, often demanding work environment 
  • High energy, self starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
  • Proficient in executive level PowerPoint
  • Interaction with regulators, reviews and interaction with internal compliance/audit functions are highly desired 
  • Experience with cross-functional / business delivery, ideally with large data-intensive program/project management experience
