Citi’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO) was established in 2020 to oversee the company’s regulatory engagement, project management and to lead transformation efforts. Now, the CAO organization has grown to over 800 employees and is at the center of a multi-billion dollar transformation that will shape the future of the company over the next coming years. CAO is fast-growing and is in need of motivated talent. The CAO Strategy Team is seeking VP, CAO Strategic Initiatives with responsibility for helping the Strategy Team drive important projects and strategic initiatives of the CAO organization. He/she will also manage projects across functional teams within and outside the CAO, while working very closely with the CAO Strategy & Planning Lead.


The CAO Strategy & Planning team is a small, yet high impact group with highly capable individuals.


Responsibilities:

  • Support several cross-function & cross-program strategic initiatives and partner closely with necessary stakeholders across CAO, including Transformation Program Office, Risk & Control, Regulatory Engagement, HR, Deputy CAO, etc.
  • Drive discrete parts of end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives from problem identification through requirements definition and solution implementation
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and designees on strategic initiatives and enhancements ensuring the necessary checkpoints have been implemented and met
  • Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across the CAO organization to ensure a consistent approach to their respective areas
  • Provide the CAO Strategy Lead with the areas of interdependencies (both within the CAO organization and external to the CAO organization) and demonstrate leadership to bring teams together to drive integration of objectives and underlying work
  • Help develop corrective solutions when objectives are not being met and influence stakeholders at all level
  • Collaborate with SVP, CAO Strategy and senior leaders to create key management presentations for various audiences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of relevant business experience, financial services experience preferred
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative environment to ensure initiatives meet mutually agreed upon desired results between business lines and functional areas
  • Ability to build relationships and partner across a complex organization
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to influence seniors and stakeholders outside of your span of control
  • Excellent time management, follow-through, and project delivery skills. Background and experience managing complex projects
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills – ability to convey a broad array of information, issues and recommendations succinctly & accurately
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
