Description:

This position will work across the Community Investing and Development function on projects that support planning and implementation of initiatives managed by the US Business Partnerships team. US Business Partnerships serves as liaison between external stakeholders and Citi businesses, identifying risks and catalyzing innovations that benefit low-and-moderate income communities and diverse populations. 

This dynamic role will provide the opportunity to gain broad insight into community investing efforts while helping to drive organizational priorities. The ideal candidate is able to prioritize and manage a range of both programmatic and operational projects and provide support with content, communications, team organization and some executive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and reporting support for flagship initiatives and special projects such as Citi’s Action for Racial Equity commitment and key stakeholder partnerships
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings, including logistics, agenda content and tracking follow-ups
  • Undertake research, create and review presentations, briefing documents, talking points, fact sheets and other written resources
  • Support data collection, vetting and reporting, including producing excel data for key initiatives  
  • Provide coordination of partners and program activity for documentation and tracking
  • Provide additional special projects support as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience, with demonstrated professional or other exposure to community development and consumer protection issues in finance and other sectors, including a focus on racial equity considerations
  • An interest in learning about and contributing to a social impact function in a global company
  • A self-starter with the capacity to work independently who is comfortable with taking on new assignments and learning new things 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Extremely detail oriented, reliable, and professional
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite with a preference for enhanced PowerPoint presentation skills and basic Excel accounting functionality
