Vice President, ICG Executive Office Lead

The ICG Executive Office (the “EO”) was officially formed in early 2019 to manage the client efforts of Citi’s ICG Senior Executives, including ICG’s CEO. The EO coordinates the client activities of selected Seniors, acts as a liaison between Seniors and ICG client teams, and helps to develop client engagement frameworks that optimize our ability to elevate our internal and external impact with key clients and influencers.

Job Background:

  • This EO position will report into the BCMA’s Chief Strategy Officer (who also has ICG Client engagement responsibilities) to:
    • Prioritize across business segments a holistic view of our most important institutional clients
    • Manage ICG Senior coverage prioritization, alignment and allocation
    • Ensure the business develops and maintains consistent methodologies to measure and track our senior relationships effectiveness and client franchise impact
    • Present the business to both internal and external clients in a clear and concise manner
    • Focus on developing and delivering critical strategic client initiatives to senior management
    • Partner with other Citi Global Business and Product heads and relationship managers to continue to drive collaboration of our business with the rest of the Institutional Clients Group franchise
    • Determine how we position our client franchise for thought leadership opportunities
    • Design and drive the content of the bi-weekly ICG Client Committee forums

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of selected Senior client activities, including planning, prioritizing and organizing projects
  • Help drive strategic initiatives to support identified priorities and overall goals for the ICG Executive Office team
  • Work with key constituents across ICG to align on client priorities
  • Further develop metrics for identifying client impact
  • Lead and project manage key work streams
  • Assist in setting and executing the agenda for the ICG Client Committee bi-weekly meeting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements and ensure proper project governance
  • Create strategic and business presentation materials for both external and internal audiences


  • 6-12 years’ experience in financial services or Strategy consulting experience
  • Requires in-depth understanding of how the various business lines within the ICG collectively integrate, coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire division. 
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify industry trends and provide strategic insight
  • Organized, self-starter who follows long term projects through to completion
  • Ability to take ownership and be proactive
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others, particularly  senior management
  • Interest in tracking business development (collect research, analyze market trends)
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Advanced level of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills


  •          Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
