To support the NA Fintech segment within Treasury and Trade. The goal is to acquire new clients in within the ICG target market and leverage existing client relationships to grow revenues, increase client satisfaction and optimize Citi's share of each clients cash wallet. The target market is identified as entities providing payment, lending or investment services to retail and corporate clients through nonbank channels. These include Merchant acquirers, Payment Intermediaries, Buy Now Pay Later firms, Merchant Finance entities, Wealth Tech, FX and Exchange Infrastructure and Virtual Asset Participants.

The Solution Sales Group Manager manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function.

This position supports the North America Fintech segment within Treasury and Trade. The goal is to acquire new clients in within the ICG target market and leverage existing client relationships to grow revenues, increase client satisfaction and optimize Citi's share of each clients cash wallet. The target market is identified as entities providing payment, lending or investment services to retail and corporate clients through nonbank channels. These include Merchant acquirers, Payment Intermediaries, Buy Now Pay Later firms, Merchant Finance entities, Wealth Tech, FX and Exchange Infrastructure and Virtual Asset Participants.A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. May be doing involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities.

Develop specific sales strategies in coordination with Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) product, Market management, Global TTS counterparts , corporate and CCB, FX and other partners.

 Research prospect needs, identify solutions from the TTS product set and present same to potential clients

lead responses to RFI and RFP received

Engae our Risk and Compliance partners to assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.

Provide market, product and risk feedback through all phases of the sales lifecycle

Manage handoff to implementation, account management and customer service teams

support FI management with business ramp up and account planning

Requirements:

15+ years of experience, including 8+ years' managerial experience

Digital Payments experience

Advanced marketing and selling skills & ‘customer first’ mind-set

Possesses in-depth knowledge of and other banking products strongly preferred

Proven track record in sale of cash management, trade, and / or technology based consulting solutions

Managed large client relationship and multiple deals from a banking or product perspective

Persuasive and articulate personality

Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and externally with clients

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience
