The Payments FMI and Industry Initiatives product management group sits within TTS global P&R and is responsible for driving Citi’s industry thought leadership and advocacy related to industry consultations, emerging payment trends and new innovations. The group is also responsible for development and execution of new industry capabilities and ensuring they are fully integrated and support differentiation in the global P&R product set. Citi has been a key driver and supporter across various SWIFT industry programs including migration to ISO 20022 whereby we are committed to driving awareness of the benefits that ISO 20022 brings to all participants in the payments ecosystem. We continue to dedicate investment and resources at all levels to these initiatives. ISO 20022 is at the core of Citi’s payments strategy and the ISO 20022 migration will be the foundations for a new centralized data model for data  standardization and expansion of SWIFT capabilities towards embedded API technology to enable dynamic connectivity and orchestration

The ISO 20022 client readiness role will require application of in-depth disciplinary knowledge, collaboration across our organization on a strategy and execution roadmap to ensure that all areas of the bank are fully prepared for this change. This will also require close collaboration and working relationship across various stakeholders like ISO product development, client implementation, channels, client testing and readiness, technology and marketing. The role will require good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.



Responsibilities:

  • The Product Performance Management Specialist partners across product disciplines, assists in the ownership of the product(s) and monitoring drivers for performance

  • Support the global client engagement and commercialization strategy for the ISO 20022 migration

  • Execute the strategy and governance model globally for P&R ISO 20022 client readiness

  • Support a global cross-functional team to drive and execute the migration of clients to ISO 20022 standards. Drive consistency and an overall holistic approach across regions and countries who will execute locally.

  • Create collateral and an outreach and training strategy for clients

  • Responsible for global approach for client communication, setting and maintaining timelines and coordination with applicable product and functional partners.

  • Ensuring at a global level that Citi is aligned to Market Infrastructure/Regulatory requirements regarding client communication and commercialization

  • Support governance and approval efforts regarding commercialization of ISO 20022 including: overseeing that all applicable NPACs are obtained by regions/countries and other client readiness requirements are completed

  • Drive usage of ISO 20022 into the P&R product set including leveraging for value added services and process improvements


Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline

  • Experience in and understanding of logistics or Industrial verticals experience with e-commerce solutions preferred

  • Complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives

  • In-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions

  • Ability to apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations

  • Developed diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers

  • Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior managers

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
