The primary responsibility of this position is to enable Citi’s Consumer & Healthcare clients to execute their business plans by providing the best of Citi’s award-winning treasury and transactional financial infrastructure.  The hired person will function as a Global Solution Sales individual contributor within the Consumer & Healthcare sector team, responsible for maintaining and growing the revenue associated a specific portfolio of clients.

The portfolio, and the role, will focus on sales and relationship building for large-cap Consumer & Healthcare clients.  Key duties include sales origination, cross-selling TTS products and services to deepen wallet penetration, revenue realization and expansion, while driving customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.  Banking and finance are rapidly evolving, and the ideal candidate will take an entrepreneurial approach to their portfolio to diversify calling centers beyond traditional Treasury and Finance to include payments product, engineering, business development and eCommerce.

Key Responsibilities Defined:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, taking global / regional / local accountability for delivering the TTS platform.
  • Act as the primary global point of contact and accountability for TTS global/regional/ local sales origination and related activities to the assigned portfolio of clients in partnership with the Corporate and Investment banking teams.
  • Global / Regional / Local responsibility to grow the TTS revenues; focused on finding new opportunities at emerging clients for the bank, while building trusted advisor status.
  • Cultivate client contacts in the key buying centers (across multiple levels) that allocate and influence the client’s TTS-related wallet in order to: (1) Determine client objectives & financial needs that can be addressed through the TTS platform and; (2) Identify opportunities for new deals across TTS product set and geographies including multi-product requirements.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • A highly motivated and experienced senior Salesperson with a track record of prospecting new clients and driving new revenues within a portfolio of multi-national corporations.  The individual should have financial sales, payment partnerships, or corporate treasury experience.
  • The individual should put the customer at the center of any activities and able to operate at all levels within the client’s organization.
  • Knowledge of the Consumer & Healthcare ecosystems and sub-sectors is a positive.

Skills:

  • Proven track record of successful client sales management with Treasury, Engineering, Product, Business Development, and eCommerce.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to conduct and understand financial analysis.
  • Detailed Understanding of Company Balance Sheet and Income Statement.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
