Citi Commercial Cards is the leading provider of Charge Card solutions to multi-national corporations and public sector organizations, offering global payment capabilities in over 100 countries. Together, the Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and Business-to-Business (B2B) product lines form the core of Citi’s business expense management offering, leveraged by over 8 million cardholders around the world.

The Global B2B Product Management Head is a critical role, and part of the Global Commercial Cards Management Team, with ownership of the TTS Commercial Cards B2B strategy, overseeing the execution of business-critical initiatives, product positioning, business management, and ensuring Citi’s leadership position in the B2B Commercial Cards space.

The B2B segment is a major pillar of Citi’s Commercial Card strategy and a critical component of Citi’s continued growth, in terms of spend volume and revenue, in all regions across the globe. This position will have significant senior-level exposure and play a leading role in determining the longer-term global strategy for Citi’s B2B portfolio as well as the allocation of investment funds to execute the global strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the global product strategy for a portfolio of B2B commercial card solutions and services, including traditional Purchasing Card solutions as well as emergent solutions such as the Citi Virtual Card Account (VCA), buyer-initiated “push” payments, and Citi Supplier Enablement Services.
  • Manage a small team of professionals to realize the global B2B vision for Citi Commercial Cards.
  • Expert resource for B2B Commercial Cards both internally within Citi and to the marketplace, working with regional Cards Product, Product Sales, Account Management, and functional teams.
  • Work with internal partners across Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS), Institutional Clients Group (ICG), and the Commercial & Consumer Banking (CCB) groups as needed including client coverage teams to drive the growth of cards within the broader B2B space.
  • Manage the product-level relationships with the Networks, work with internal partners to develop third-party relationships on the B2B side, and ensure Citi is well-positioned externally, with industry groups, analysts, and consultants, as a leading B2B player around the world.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying
  • Role will have daily interaction with regional (US and non-US) teams. Domestic and International travel to be expected.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of experience, preferably across the banking and payment space, including management of technical & commercial teams in global organizations
  • Deep payment industry knowledge, with network across the main players of the ecosystem (fintechs, associations, networks, distributors)
  • Results-oriented, critical thinker with strong project management skills and passion for innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to to drive short, medium, and long term financial results
  • Ability to inspire, develop, and lead a team of professionals to realize Citi's vision for Global B2B Payments.
  • Thought leader with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and senior management presence, able to work effectively in highly matrixed environments

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Project Management certifications a plus (Prince2, PMP…)
