Responsibilities
This position is for Quality Assurance Lead Analyst within the Treasury Liquidity Transformation team, reporting to the Global Liquidity Reporting System (GLRS) Platform Product Owner.
This individual will be responsible for managing quality assurance/testing activities for GLRS and its affiliated reporting interface, such as CitiInsight.
This role requires a broad understanding of technology infrastructure, the development of content expertise related to liquidity, accounting, compliance and risk policies, and the ability to define testing strategies that focus both on the thorough assessment of financial outcomes and exhaustive simulation of operational scenarios in BAU reporting. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operating in a dynamic and fluid environment, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a thorough understanding of liquidity reporting technical infrastructure as well as cross-module dependencies embedded within the platform
- Develop expertise in Citi’s liquidity, accounting, compliance and risk policies
- Develop quality assurance methodologies for the Global Liquidity Reporting Platform, supporting a range of changes, from basic enhancements to complex new functionality. Such strategies should clearly and comprehensively define the objectives of the testing, success criteria, exhaustive use case definition, environmental setup requirements and guidance on sample use cases.
- Establish artifact to support defined QA methodologies, including a tracking mechanism, governance protocols and sample templates
- Serve as lead Point of Contact (PoC) with partner organizations in Finance, Technology, Operations, and other stakeholders when test execution necessitates coordination across multiple groups/systems
- Develop and maintain training materials to educate team members and partner groups on best practices in designing test cases to support execution of the test strategies
- Oversee the setup of the UAT environment and the execution of testing activities, including, but not limited to, prioritization of data loads, coordination of configuration files, procurement of necessary end user entitlements, and a review of test artifacts
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Graduate level degree a plus
- 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services Technology in a Quality Assurance capacity
- Familiarity with multiple technology development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile required
- Experience with JIRA required
- Expertise in unit, regression, systems integration, user acceptance and production assurance testing methodologies is required
- The desire and ability to, “roll up the sleeves” and understand how policy, data architecture and logical operands/rules produce liquidity specific enrichments is critical for this role
- Prior experience with automated testing tools such as HP WinRunner, Quality Center and HP ALM, highly desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is highly desired, including experience creating senior management level presentations. The ability to explain complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audience is extremely beneficial for this role
- Knowledge of the Treasury function and balance sheet products is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
