Job Description
This position is for Solution Design Group Manager within the Treasury Liquidity Transformation team, reporting to the Global Liquidity Reporting System (GLRS) Platform Product Owner.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing reporting solution design and quality assurance/testing activities for GLRS and its affiliated reporting interface, such as CitiInsight.
This role requires a broad understanding of technology infrastructure and data architecture, the development of content expertise related to liquidity, accounting, compliance and risk policies, and development of testing strategies in close collaboration with Quality Assurance Lead Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Review recommended technical solutions to ensure they are scalable, consistent with Finance’s overall architectural roadmap and will deliver measurable value for stakeholders
- Serve as lead Point of Contact (PoC) with partner organizations in Finance, Technology, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Represent Treasury Liquidity Transformation group in change management forums with partner groups in Treasury, Technology and Operations in conjunction with the Change Control and Release Manager
- Oversee development of robust quality assurance methodologies for the liquidity reporting platform covering wide range of changes, from basic enhancements to complex and new functionality
- Oversee the setup of the UAT environment, data loads, coordination of configuration files, procurement of necessary end user entitlements
- Manage, train and direct junior staff
Successful Candidate will Possess:
- Ability to establish a thorough understanding of the end-to-end liquidity reporting technical architecture as well as cross-module dependencies embedded within the infrastructure
- Ability to develop expertise in Citi’s liquidity, accounting, compliance, and risk policies, merging this knowledge with an understanding of Citi’s data architecture (current state and planned changes)
- Desire and ability to, “roll up the sleeves” and understand how policy, data architecture and logical operands/rules produce liquidity specific enrichments
- Experience in partnering with multiple business and technology stakeholders across organization
- Proven track record in operating in a dynamic and fluid environment, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently
- Ability to distil complex ideas into simpler concepts
Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Financial Services Technology responsible for systems design and architecture
- Familiarity with multiple technology development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with team management
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in unit, regression, systems integration, user acceptance and production QA testing methodologies is desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is highly desired, including experience creating senior management level presentations. The ability to explain complex, technical concepts to a non-technical audience is extremely beneficial for this role
- Knowledge of the Treasury function and balance sheet products is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of SharePoint is a plus
