Responsibilities

The Treasury Transformation / GPO team works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities, which span global Treasury groups, Finance functions, infrastructure partners in EIO&T and business partners in ICG and GCB.  The team leads Treasury’s regulatory agenda and all internal reviews to identify priorities, coordinate efforts and track progress, and define and implement best practices.

This position will report directly to the head of the Treasury GPO Liquidity Transformation team lead.

Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.  Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas, many times senior.  Responsibility for yearly budget cycle for Interest Rate Risk and Citi Treasury Investments along with governance and short-term resource planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop relationships for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness, assist in defining new strategies and special projects
  • Directs and coordinates all activities with respect to implementation of Treasury process design and day to day operations
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives under guidance of senior leadership, including the yearly budget cycle
  • Coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the entire function including integration and communication across the team and broader Treasury
  • Review, design and execute on improvements to org structure
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others with the ability to engage a wide variety of people across functions and seniority
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instruction including managing through ambiguity
  • High energy, self starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
  • Proficient in executive level PowerPoint

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Graduate level degree a plus
