Treasury Balance Sheet and Liquidity Management - Senior Vice President
The Balance Sheet Management Group Manager leads a team responsible for Treasury-related analysis execution of strategy and other ad- hoc initiatives within the Markets businesses. The candidate must understand the Treasury function, Markets-related products, balance sheet management and forecasting. The role requires the ability to communicate and analyze complex ideas with consideration for broader impacts. Likewise, the candidate must be able to coordinate across multiple business and finance functions to manage Treasury-related requirements efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Markets business, with a focus on Fixed Income, to develop and efficiently manage strategy while mitigating risk primarily related to Secured Funding
- Identify risks and propose solutions to promote profitability through efficient use of resources and mitigating risks
- Enhance metrics and implement automation required for analysis and optimization of Treasury resources
- Develop and/or manage limits, internal stress testing and models through partnership with business, risk, finance, and technology partners
- Work with technology to develop analytics and implement automated solutions for managing liquidity
- Oversee governance materials and represent Markets Treasury in meetings as appropriate
- Independently handle ad-hoc analyses
- Participate in various regulatory initiatives
Qualifications:
- 10 plus years of experience working for a financial service organization
- Secured Financing and Markets business knowledge
- Experience with GSIB and/or Treasury regulations with understanding of impact on business
- Analytical skills with advanced critical thinking capabilities
- Proactive and independent approach to problem solving
- Strong people and project management experience, with an ability to multi-task in a dynamic and technical environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to manage across all levels
- Well-developed aptitude with databases, spreadsheets, and other desktop applications
