Responsibilities

The Office of the CAO is responsible for driving Citi’s Transformation, which is an unparalleled opportunity to modernize and simplify our bank so that we improve how we serve our clients, make Citi an easier place to work and ultimately benefit our shareholders. The Transformation is not merely about meeting regulatory requirements. Citi is raising the bar and using this as an opportunity to revaluate the way we do business. As one of the key leaders within the Transformation Program Operations group, the Transformation Program Operations Reporting & Analytics Director will possess both strong technical expertise as well as be a proven people leader.  This Director will be the owner of the business architecture, responsible for the data model requirements for transformation and risk reduction metrics reporting, and will own and develop processes to gather reporting requirements; drive development of relevant metrics; maintain a pipeline and process for prioritization; evaluate new tools and methods to support analytics and reporting; develop and maintain process to meet tactical reporting needs for executive management and regulators; monitor quality of output to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver executive reporting working with executive leadership stakeholders
  • Drive adherence to data policy processes, procedures, methods, and standards and leverage across the operations functions – achieve this via close partnership with data governance groups
  • Design and maintain processes to identify and prioritize reporting requirements and demand; maintain a pipeline process with technology delivery partners
  • Set up processes to measure quality; identify quality issues within the reporting; develop plans to resolve quality-related concerns
  • Set up and continually monitor controls for data collection, storage, and metrics reporting, and work in partnership with Controls organization to ensure reporting and underlying data meet the guidelines and standards
  • Set up process to identify and respond to time-sensitive report and analytics needs with quality and timeliness
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver regulatory reporting working with senior regulatory group stakeholders
  • Manages a team of reporting and analytic professionals, coaching and performance management responsibilities
  • Responsible for ongoing identification and retirement of any End User Computing applications within the group
  • Responsible for operations group compliance with Models policy

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in finance and/or risk information analytics
  • Broad understanding of Citi’s businesses a plus
  • Experience managing teams and staff at various levels (analysts to SVP)
  • Expert in development and senior usage of regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to independently and effectively work across all levels of management and across functions to accomplish the mission
  • Demonstrated strong leadership experience, especially in transitioning or challenged environments (including strong facilitation skills)
  • Excellent presentation skills, including perfected English (spoken and written)
  • Strong analytical and detail orientation
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate several reports / projects at once

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience
