This position is part of the Accountability, Culture and Talent (ACT) transformation program group formed to lead Citi’s transformation efforts across these three critical pillars. We are at a pivotal moment of redefinition across our franchise as we transform our risk and control environment to one that is stronger and simpler.

The ACT Vice President will drive forward the successful execution of ACT’s work and alignment with regulatory expectations, provide cross-program group coordination and first line advisory, review and challenge of the project plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong initiative and be detail orientated with demonstrated multi-tasking and analytical capabilities.

The ACT Vice President will be responsible for the following:

  • Create and maintain ACT Program regulatory engagement deliverables, while establishing and sustaining strong working relationships across all Functions, Businesses, Program Managers, and the Global Regulatory Engagement team.
  • Coordinate presentation materials and talking points related to ACT program content.
  • Work with the global Transformation team members to contribute to enhanced regulatory processes.
  • Timely delivery of high quality, value-added multiple concurrent deliverables on time and to specification.
  • Track the progress of regulatory issues throughout the issue management lifecycle.
  • Ensure close coordination and partnership with internal stakeholders to align deliverables and timelines to central team requirements.
  • Support senior colleagues with ad hoc regulatory engagement tasks.


  • Experience at a large financial institution in risk management, internal audit and/or business transformation, or in a comparable role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration on high profile projects across a large organization; including a proactive and “no surprises” approach in communicating issues/requests.
  • Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in sustained change and change management efforts.
  • Strong listening skills and an ability to engage at management level.
  • Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to excel in a dynamic, fluid and continuously changing environment; proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, independently and collaboratively.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Understanding of role of internal audit function and the issue management lifecycle, including issue remediation
  • Exposure to regulatory expectations for large financial institutions in areas of governance, risk management, and/or incentive compensation
  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of multiple HR disciplines and of various policies and standards a plus.
