SVP - Regulatory Change Management (hybrid)
Job Description
Citi Enterprise Resilience (ER) Risk & Control Management organization within COO Risk & Control is seeking an individual contributor to join the ER Risk & Control Team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with defining and implementing Regulatory Change Management processes to maintain Citi’s Enterprise Resilience Policy and Continuity of Business and Operational Resilience Standards. The individual will report directly to the ER Global Risk & Control Manager and will be based in New York, NY.
- Prepare and manage regulatory interactions for ER and coordinate interactions with Regulators
- Ensure policies and standards remain in compliance with FFIEC and other Prudential Regulatory bodies
- Regulatory Change Management (RCM) - Review and Monitor Regulations and Legislation
- Monitor new regulations impacting CoB and Operational Resilience; identify updates to existing policy and standards as necessary
- Act as the primary ER contact with the Independent Compliance Risk Management group and develop an interactive model to assign, evaluate and disposition regulatory pronouncements across regional ER teams
- Perform gap analysis of new regulations against existing practices and ensure that corrective action is established for any gaps or partial gaps
- Develop and continuously improve the regulatory change management process
- Ensure appropriate controls are defined for these new requirements and reflected in MCA as necessary
- Collaborate with Policy Owner to ensure policy and procedures are updated with new regulations.
Job Skills/Qualifications:
- SVP Level Role requiring 15+ years of service in a fast-paced financial services firm with experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
- Prior project management experience with demonstrated success in managing complex projects and processes
- Background in continuity of business governance and communicating with regulators, auditors, and large user group communities
- Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures
- High level of planning and execution of medium range and long-term strategic plans
- Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business and global functions colleagues
- Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
Educational Level: Bachelor’s Degree required or 15+ years’ experience in related field
