Responsibilities
The EO&T Chief Administrative Office (EO&T CAO) is a driving factor in delivering value to our organization, our businesses, regulators and stakeholders. With responsibility for Risk and Control, Quality Assurance, Transformation, O&T Regulatory Standards and Communication and the O&T Chief Data Office, the EO&T CAO enables the organization to execute on O&T’s Vision and Strategy.
The Data Taxonomies & Data Capabilities Senior Lead Analyst will be responsible for leading requirements, gathering, and partnering with the Enterprise Chief Data Office and O&T functions to develop Enterprise-wide taxonomies and foundational data capabilities, and ensure their adoption in O&T.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate actively in the development of Enterprise taxonomies and standards, ensuring that they serve O&T’s needs, and are fully adopted in O&T.
Help identify tooling needed for foundational data capabilities and evaluate any existing such tooling available in the environment today
Understand specifications for the implementation – or enhancement – of all data governance tools and engage with foundational data capability initiatives and relevant users of all types (e.g., data catalogues); implement clear process flows for their use
Work with Enterprise Data Capabilities to track O&T plans against the Enterprise master plan
Lead the execution of business-critical data capabilities at the O&T level to address projects/value stream needs by leveraging best in class data techniques; drive adoption of the capabilities into the businesses, end users, and use cases
Partner with Technology to adopt and implement all necessary data governance tools at the O&T level
Collaborate with the O&T functions to ensure adoption of all data governance tools, to ensure effective and sustainable data governance processes (e.g., documentation of data lineage; logging of data quality defects) for O&T
Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in finance and overall business management in a complex, financial organization, with particular focus in technology and data
10 years of relevant experience
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization. Ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical actions. Proven track record and accountability in making quick decision that have an immediate impact on business financials.
Excellent communication skills required in order to facilitate reviews with senior stakeholders and control partners.
Effective organizational influencing skills required.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
