The Model/Anlys/Valid Sr Officer I is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

  • Maintain dashboard, tend analysis and tracking of all open issues impacting Citi Model Risk
  • Actively engage with regulator and audit stakeholders on topics relevant to Model Risk
  • Manage and lead special projects in the MRM Governance team (ad-hoc)
  • Create solutions to address thematic issues
  • Manage internal and external model risk requests and deliverables according to exam expectations for engagement with regulators and audit stakeholders
  • Prepare content and assemble materials for stakeholder engagement
  • Responsible for tracking status of regulatory matters, external audit feedback and IA findings, CAPs and milestones including collection, review and retention of evidence
  • Preparation and review of model risk reports to senior management, relevant model risk committees and the Board
  • Qualifications: Education:
    • 10+ years experience
    • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and influence executive audiences.
    • Excellent communicator; ability to engage and inspire team
    • Ability to drive innovation via thought leadership while maintaining end-to-end view.
    • Effective cross-functional project, resource, and stakeholder management; effectively engage with internal audit and external regulators.
    • Masters degree
