Citi is seeking an individual to ensure that new technology solutions address Continuity of Business/Operational Resiliency requirements.  Individual will act as the primary Enterprise Resiliency contact to the Technology community within Citi for new technology solutions and technology/cyber incidents


  • Serve as the Technical Architect for Continuity of Business and Operational Resilience solutions
  • Evaluate new regulatory requirements, determine technical implications of these requirements, and work with CTI to identify the appropriate technical solutions and implementation plan
  • Represent Enterprise Resiliency Citi’s Architecture Review Board, and assigned Delegated Action Groups (DAGs) to ensure that new technologies and technical solutions implemented at Citi address the appropriate recovery capabilities in line Continuity of Business Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Recommend updates to the CoB Policies and Standards as appropriate based on participation in the various forums
  • Ensure that Enterprise Resiliency requirements are included in the Principals of Architecture, Citi’s Solutions  Delivery Life Cycle (CSDLC), and Citi’s Solution Technology Life Cycle (CSTLC) Standards
  • Periodically engage the Sector Head of Engineering and Architecture Practice (HEAPs) to discuss resiliency challenges based on regulatory as well as Second and Third Line of Defense challenges and issues
  • Assist in the development of metrics to monitor continuity of business and operational resilience readiness and prepare reporting to key stakeholders
  • Partner with the CSFC during Cyber incidents to understand business impact, and communicate these impacts to the Continuity of Business Core Leadership Team so that they may assist the business in recovery efforts
  • Maintain Cyber Crisis and Recovery Playbook Template
  • Participate in Cyber Exercise design and execution to ensure recovery implications are integrated into those key exercises  


  • The candidate must have 10 – 15 years in application development or infrastructure management including a strong:
    • Technology architecture background; be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding as to how applications and infrastructure platforms are integrated at the network, application and database layers
    • Distributed and mainframe technology knowledge. Candidate must be able to demonstrate their technical acumen with various operating systems, databases, storage, backup, capacity, information security, and system monitoring technologies
    • Technology risk and CoB/Resiliency background
    • Technology and/or Cyber incident management experience
  • Experience in driving large application development and/or infrastructure programs or initiatives for a large global financial services organization
  • Strong facilitation and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to differing levels of management
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
