Responsibilities
As a senior member of the Master & Reference Data Architecture Strategy Group within the Enterprise Chief Data Office (ECDO), the Solution Architect for Instrument and Price Master and Reference Data defines solution strategy for all master and reference data related concepts, systems, and platforms for Financial Instruments (Securities, Contracts) and their associated Prices (start of day, end of day, intra-day).
The Solution Architect will work across all lines of business to assess the current state master and reference data quality, data governance processes and platforms. The Instrument and Price MDM Architect will define and guide the technical execution of the target state architecture for the constituent data domains.
Responsibilities:
- Perform gap analysis and continuous improvement of Instrument and Price master and reference data, data processes and platforms.
- Define target state architecture and communicate vision and gain support across the organization.
- Define and prioritize integration and adoption strategy for all constituent domains, processes and systems.
- Define metrics-driven transformational priorities for the Instrument and Price master and reference data domain.
- Develop and build strong working partnerships and strategic relationships with key partners across operations and technology to align implementation with measurable business value.
- Collaborate with Data Modelers across the firm (multiple data domains and functions) to drive alignment to common standards and master data foundations.
- Collaborate with Data Quality Teams to enable models with adequate specification for simplified Data Quality engineering.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Management and prioritization skills
- Ability to develop working relationships
- Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
- Methodical, attention to detail
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
