Small Business Digital Product Transformation Manager - Hybrid
Small Business has been identified as a key growth area for the consumer bank over the next several years, with specific focus on creating a best-in-class digital banking and servicing experience. As the Small Business Digital Product Transformation Manager, the successful candidate will be a driving force for the strategic development and execution of our next generation digital and mobile banking platform including bringing to market features around self-servicing, digital wallet, account linking, business entitlements and new cashflow management features. In this role you will work cross-functionally with product, digital, technology, servicing, research, marketing to design and execute on the strategic roadmap. This VP will report to the Head of Small Business Transformation and will play a key role in Citi’s small business growth agenda. Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic evolution of small business digital banking and servicing platform at Citi
Responsible for the overall vision, technical capabilities, and roadmap to ensure small business customers can make the best use of their deposit, lending, and cash management accounts
Manage existing and develop new small business digital products and services, informed by an understanding of segment needs, customer requests and competitive landscape
Drive product/project execution. Collaborate with Digital, Product, Segment, Pricing, Marketing, Distribution, Technology, Legal, Compliance and Controls partners in execution planning, launch activities, and post-launch assessments
Develop business cases for new and enhanced products/capabilities to obtain leadership and governance committee approvals
Prepare business reviews to highlight results and recommendations to senior management
Engage with external partners and/or vendor relationships, negotiations, manage ongoing relationships, and prepare agreements
Address Client Experience issues and drive to resolution
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
6 to 10 years of relevant experience
Demonstrative experience leading digital initiatives in agile methodology
Highly effective documentation of business requirements and user stories
Experience working with engineers and developers to understand what is technically possible and how to translate vision into relatable user stories for development
Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic and executional aspects of product development and enhancement initiatives
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders
Experience with banking products; small business financial product experience a plus
In-depth knowledge of industry and competitor products/services; familiarity with operating needs of small businesses
Intellectual agility. High degree of comfort with ambiguity. Innovative thinker with a track record of challenging the status quo and devising creative solutions to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
Ability to work unsupervised, handle multiple, competing objectives and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication of a technical nature to both technology and non-technology focused partners
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
