We are looking for a purpose-driven leader with a deep passion for Learning & Development to join our team of committed and passionate Learning Professionals. The Senior Learning Advisor will function as a senior member of the ICG Learning Leadership team and play a key role in developing and executing the global learning strategy and book of work for Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS). The Senior Learning Advisor will report to the Global Head of Learning & Development for ICG, Early Career Learning (ECL),  EO&T and ICG O&T and will manage a team of Senior Learning Analysts.  

The Learning Advisor Senior Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.


  • Develop the Learning & Development strategy and oversee and manage execution of the book of work with project management and change management discipline and practices

  • Work with TTS partners to secure and establish the proper funding and stewardship of resources to be deployed globally toward Learning solutions

  • Proactively identify strategies and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals by establishing and maintaining partnerships with senior business leaders, SMEs, and vendors to identify and drive performance improvement and behavioral change across TTS

  • Proactively collaborate with business partners, HR partners, and regional L&D teams to socialize and drive adoption of sustainable learning solutions

  • Assess and reengineer existing portfolio of programs and solutions, conduct gap analysis to identify new learning solution needs, design or source new programs / solutions as identified, and continuously maintain and enhance programs to ensure they remain best-in-class and aligned with firmwide Citi Learning and ICG strategy

  • Design and facilitate instructor-led courses and workshops, and oversee the logistical planning processes and learning administration

  • Develop and implement consistent methods and metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions and proactively execute improvements as needed

  • Drive ongoing process improvement opportunities to proactively address pain points in the L&D experience

  • Keep abreast of leading-edge learning trends and learning technologies to continuously push the possibilities of adult learning

  • Lead and manage (coach and develop) a team of  Senior Learning Analysts and manage day-to-day execution and decision making

  • Partner with Learning Advisors and other learning professionals on special projects as needed across ICG and Citi Learning


  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources or Consulting

  • Breadth of experience in needs assessments, instructional design, and delivery for multiple modalities (e.g., classroom, self-paced, virtual)

  • Experience in Organizational Development and Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and Coaching is highly preferred

  • Experience in Program / Project Management and Change Management is valued

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS PowerPoint and Excel

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with a commitment and drive for excellence

  • Proven ability to align strategic business needs with a learning strategy and provide thought leadership on learning and development strategy and solutions

  • Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence

  • Team-oriented and inclusive leader who values creative and diverse perspectives

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving and changing priorities, with resilience and flexibility, and is proactive at overcoming anticipated barriers

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience creating and managing a budget

  • Master’s Degree Preferred
