Role Description:

Citi Learning works to drive business performance by connecting employees with relevant and innovative learning experiences when and where they need them. Global Risk Learning & Development manages Risk Training for the entire enterprise and learning overall for the Global Risk Management Organization. 

The Senior Learning Advisor for Enterprise Risk is focused on ensuring that Citi employees have the knowledge and skills to manage key risk programs / frameworks and certain key risk types effectively. 

The Senior Leaning Advisor for Enterprise Risk will build an enterprise risk capability and enable behavior change across the institution through innovative and engaging risk learning programs.  The Senior Learning Advisor for Enterprise Risk will work closely with the Head of Risk L&D and partner with senior stakeholders to set the learning strategy for Enterprise Risk Frameworks and certain key Risk Types and lead the design, development, delivery, execution, and project management of new and existing Enterprise Risk knowledge and skill programs. 

General Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Head of Risk L&D and senior Risk stakeholders, design the learning strategy for Key Risk Programs / Frameworks and certain Key Risk Types
  • Conduct analysis of risk knowledge and skill gaps and strategize on the appropriate learning solutions to meet organizational needs and impact positive change
  • Keep apprised of newest available learning modalities and solution possibilities and incorporate into learning programs, driving innovation and ensuring maximum engagement and learning effectiveness
  • Lead the project management of multiple new risk programs with vendors or internal instructional designers, ensuring successful and on-time delivery
  • Lead and manage one or more Risk Learning team members focused on the learning strategy for one or more Key Risk Types
  • Develop and implement consistent methods and metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and proactively execute improvements as needed, maintaining a best-in-class curriculum
  • Create engaging communications / materials to promote key programs and initiatives
  • Partner on special projects as needed for Risk L&D and Citi Learning

Key Competencies

  • Expertise in Enterprise Risk, Risk Frameworks, and/or Key Risk Types
  • Passionate about Learning & Development with experience in designing, developing, facilitating, and/or executing engaging and effective learning programs across various formats (instructor led trainings, virtual instructor led trainings, web-based trainings)
  • Experience in driving and executing large-scale, multi-stream, transformational / change programs
  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders globally, at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence; experience implementing campaigns and written materials that engage, interest and drive action
  • Highly adaptable to changing priorities and ambiguity; able to motivate others through significant change; proven ability to overcome barriers challenges and drive toward execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment; excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • Innovative and keen to try new ways of doing things and ability to motivate others to do so as well
  • Strong leadership and people management skills; inclusive leader who values creativity and diverse perspectives
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred. Preferred areas of study include Risk Management, and or Learning & Development for Risk / within the Financial Services Industry
  • 10+ years’ experience in Risk Management with involvement in Learning & Development initiatives
