The Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Issue Management Lead is a that reports into the Head of RRP Governance and Reporting.A successful candidate will have Risk management and control background with experience in leading and implementing large scale Recovery and resolution planning projects and regulatory remediation. The individual will be able lead and deliver a portfolio of projects by leveraging project management, relationship building and communication skills. The Program Manager should apply knowledge of Finance, risk and issue management skills to ensure the timely delivery of target state strategic commitments.


Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Recovery and Resolution Planning Issue management program and ensures timely remediation of commitments
  • Responsible for the issue quality review program ensuring compliance with global Issue Management Procedure
  • Develop issue management standards and ensures ongoing reviews with key cross functional stakeholders including Risk, Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance
  • Manages issue management reports and facilitates Issue management governance forums
  • Manages the Issue documentation and leads the closure to RRP commitments
  • Drive communication, guidance and training of new requirements.
  • Manages the control inventory and ensures compliance with firm standards

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, operational risk management, audit, compliance or other control function.
  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
  • Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
  • Understanding of Regulatory Environment: Deep knowledge of financial regulations and requirements, particularly those relating to recovery and resolution planning
  • Capital and Liquidity Management Knowledge: Should understand the complexities of capital and liquidity management
  • Compliance Management: Knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory
    requirements as well as experience representing large financial institutions (preferably G-SIBs) with regulatory bodies (e.g., OCC, FDIC, FRB, PRA, EBA, etc.)
  • Teaming: Proven track record engaging and partnering with Business Unit (BU) leaders and cross-functional teams (e.g., Risk, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Technology, etc.)
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, power point
  • In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.
  • CPA preferred

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
