The Equities business is seeking a Quantitative Services Salesperson to distribute execution, financing and data products exclusively to systematic and quantitative investment managers. This role is vertically integrated across Equities Execution Services and Prime Brokerage Origination and reports into the Americas Quantitative Services Sales team. This role requires a strong technical background as well as solid communication skills. The Equities business includes Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Delta One, Prime Finance, and Sales (Equities and Prime).

Quantitative Services Sales focuses on identifying and developing clients to build our execution services business as well as our cash & synthetic prime finance platform. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in North America. Candidates must understand execution products (Algos, DMA, ATS), equity financing, documentation, credit risk management. They must have aptitude and ability to build strong client relationships which they can lever at Citi to develop new prime brokerage business. The candidate is expected to collaborate with the broader equities and markets franchise in order to meet client needs, originate new business and grow with existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with hedge fund clients, prospects and institutional investors to originate new PB business
  • Drive our execution services agenda to optimize existing client relationships and originate new execution business
  • Help distribute both new and existing datasets to systematic client base
  • Organize and attend events, meetings and conference calls
  • Develop client coverage plans and drive execution of business strategy; collaborate with the broader equities franchise
  • Coordinate with global Origination teams to deliver best in class service to client base
  • Collaborate on marketing presentations for key clients and hedge fund prospects
  • Gain a working knowledge of the hedge fund players and the complex strategies they employ
  • Collaborate with the product team; the broader equities franchise; broader markets to deliver best in class coverage for our clients and grow our footprint

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7+ years of prior financial services work experience.
  • Prior Prime Brokerage Sales experience is preferred
  • Demonstrate origination track record
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong interest in financial markets and the people and firms that drive them
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow up and organizational skills
  • A willingness and ability to work within a strong team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in a technical major
