The Costco Acquisition Partner Channel Manager role will develop, lead and execute Acquisition marketing strategies to acquire engaged and profitable Costco card customers.

The role will drive specific channel cards acquisitions such as, Costco partner email, etc. through prominent marketing communication and evaluating performance drivers to transform insights into recommendations to shape future acquisition strategies Drive testing and campaigns through cross functional partnerships across Citi and Costco.

The role will spearhead acquisitions initiatives to drive prominent marketing and data driven decisions to meet Citi’s Costco acquisition commitments.  Key to success will be developing and leveraging strong partnerships across Citi’s and Costco teams. Partnership across key subject matter stakeholders such as Product, Channel Managers, Decision Management, Marketing Investment, Risk, Finance, Legal and Compliance.


  • Grow Business through innovative acquisition marketing strategies to attract lifetime engaged customers
  • Partner with Citi & Costco cross functional teams in drive and influence testing and roadmap to meet channel goals  
  • Lead teams to ensure flawless customer facing marketing and operational excellence
  • Evaluate program performance to drive future strategies, optimize existing channel performance and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness and customer experience.
  • Actively optimize channel specific marketing investment (Marketing, Acquisition Incentive, etc.)  Identify investment opportunities and align spending to improving financial performance.
  • Build great cross functional partnerships both within Citi and Costco to partner and align on key marketing and analytical initiatives
  • Identify and influence new strategic opportunities to grow engaged and profitable acquisition
  • Design, develop, optimize and measure the strategy and P&L to grow the volume and profitability of new card accounts acquired through all acquisition touch-points.
  • Effective Communication of Acquisition channel strategies and performance results
  • Identify strategic and tactical initiatives to provide a sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
  • Identify and manage issues to resolution.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • 6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry experience.
  • Requires attention to detail, advanced project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once.
  • Creative problem solving and sense of ownership.
  • Solid communication, presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.


  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
