About the Role

This role sits with the Creative and Content Transformation team within the Martech organization. Our mission is to provide technology tools that deliver marketing that is real-time and personalized while reducing process pain points and cycle time. Automating marketing collateral quality control is a critical focus for US Consumer Marketing and we have launched several initiatives to automate marketing QC and compliance through ML/AI and bot automation. The QC Automation Lead will be responsible for managing these efforts, including defining business requirements and roadmap, working alongside technology teams to build and deploy tools, and engage users to adopt these technologies. The role requires understand current marketing legal and compliance workflow and how current process can be improved using automation. This role will partner closely with colleagues within Legal/Compliance/Marketing/IT/Digital organizations to cross-collaborate and act as a change agent.

This opportunity will be highly visible as improving Controls is a key business objective championed by our CEO.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather, prioritize, write and test rules/business requirements for automation tools
  • Act as a central contact for all Automation QC initiatives and platform SME
  • Act as rule manager/librarian for automation tool
  • Train new users, monitor use, feedback/troubleshoot
  • Support implementation of a centralized model
  • Act as central point of contact between Citi and 3rd party vendor, including managing buildout of rules, monitoring results, improving functionality, and troubleshooting
  • Provide PMO support, liaise between Business, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Sourcing as needed
  • Manage process of onboarding/monitoring websites to be assessed
  • Provide regular readouts to key stakeholders/dashboard type of communications
  • Supports the assessment of change management needs across Global Solutions to determine appropriate strategies for change execution
  • Supports the development of change management training, standards, tools/templates and marketing compliance toolkits

QUALIFICATION & SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Business, Marketing/Servicing or Marketing Management, Project Management skills
  • Experience with/working knowledge of Martech/technology platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to create/capture KPI’s, drive results and provide updates to a wide and senior audience
  • Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally, especially between Marketing, Legal, Compliance and Technology
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated to execute on goals in support of team objectives
  • Gets hands dirty – rolling up sleeves and working through ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret product or program goals against the greater Citi organization
  • Excellent collaborator, Team player
  • Capable of communicating at all levels, including executive and c-level internal and external stakeholders or partners
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement
  • Able to reinforce training and best practices standards
  • Applies data-driven approaches to inform Global Stakeholders on strategy and to optimize processes
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and OCR technology is helpful 
  • Skilled at information retrieval: can quickly find positive (approved) and negative (unapproved) examples of marketing materials quickly
