The Loan Operations Reporting and Analysis Sr. Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within the organization and contributes to directional strategy by providing in-depth reporting and detailed analysis on relevant metrics.


  • This role will prepare and review loan operations reports and presentations while also providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process. 
  • Serves as a strategic partner with other businesses and strives to facilitate their success
  • Works on projects, monitors Loan Operations MRAs, CAPs, and issues and provides status updates on all tracked activities via power point presentations
  • Supports a wide range of internal clients (product, sales, client delivery, and technology) and external corporate clients 
  • Builds reports and analytics round resourcing, and budget / policy formulation and planning
  • Liaises with various stockholders on varying matters
  • Stays abreast of the organization's operational procedures and best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements; using such knowledge to recommend customized business solutions to internal clients
  • Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and streamline operational processes
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Skills: Must Have

  • Advanced Knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process with a focus on the Microsoft Office Suit and Tableau                  
  • In-Depth Knowledge of risk types, policies and control measures and processes          
  • Applies Compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and adhering to Policies
  • Demonstrate High level Ability of using evaluative and ethical judgment to make decisions    
  • Significant Ability of Identifying, mitigating, resolving, managing and escalating risks and issues            
  • Ability to view multiple perspectives, prioritize, adapt and multi-task                                    
  • Strategic thinker, considers the end-to-end, adjacent impacts to the broader system; formulate strategies and innovate      
  • High Level Ability to analyze and think critically and conceptually and interpretively to solve problems. Includes ability to identify opportunities, assess needs, conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesize insights and provide recommendations.            
  • Effectively communicate (written and verbal) and present with diplomacy; Ability to build and manage relationships through advising, collaborating, influencing, negotiating and persuading.                          
  • Ability to plan (long-term, medium-term and short-term), create and manage budgets and  reduce expenses / save costs                                          
  • Demonstrates Ability of Leading, managing accountability and managing complexity; Ability to coach, facilitate and guide to achieve results    
  • Responsible for Managing and developing a team or multiple teams, including people-related actions and decisions such as performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations  

  • Skills: Prefer to Have        
  • General Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting practices (e.g. US GAAP)                              
  • Knowledge of Loan Processes and Procedures                          
  • Ability of  Managing, preparing and reviewing loan documentation                                
  • Awareness of the industry, competitors and trends            
  • General Knowledge of Financial Products, such as Cash Management, Treasury, the Trade Lifecycle      
  • Ability to manage, improve, and design processes and standard operating procedures, including managing KPIs and SLAs to monitor and enhance service quality and process integrity.                        
  • Ability of  Implementing projects for system Implementation, technology enhancements through project management and coordination skills

  • Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, metrics reporting , business development and business management
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in people management – in particular engaging and developing the team
  • A leader who is able to multi-task and manage through complexity effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
