Portfolio Lead responsible for driving the Liquidity Risk program within the CRO for Finance organization, partnering closely with broader Risk Managers, Finance and Technology stakeholders. Team lead, responsible for oversight of full Liquidity Risk book of work, including Regulatory, Internal Audit and strategic program initiatives. Requires prior experience with leading cross-functional, regulatory-driven programs within Risk or Finance. A strong candidate will have the excellent communication skills required in order to present and negotiate at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Lead for Liquidity Risk Management, responsible for end-to-end program delivery, including development and management of integrated program/projects plans.
  • Partner with Client to understand and quickly respond to Client needs, including scoping of the annual book of work and responding to change requests throughout the year.
  • Direct the creation and maintenance of a portfolio of inter-related programs / projects and manage their alignment to goals defined by the Client.
  • Contribute to the development of program scope and implementation design. Define RACI and KPIs and other measurements to ensure success of the project implementation.
  • Manage and coach a team of employees who are dedicated to the Liquidity Risk Management program portfolio.
  • Direct the communication of portfolio and underlying program/project status to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Direct the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Responsible for adhering to Citi Program Management Policy & Procedures including utilization of systems like PTS, JIRA, etc.
  • Coordinate with Technology where ongoing systemic enhancements are required to enhance the existing process; aligned with annual tech investment process.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services or consulting industry highly preferred
  • 5-8+ years managerial experience
  • Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead or department head, managing a team and large, strategic cross-functional projects.
  • Prior experience in Risk or Finance preferred. Good knowledge of banking and trading products, familiar understanding of liquidity risk management metrics and regulations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in content creation for executive summary, senior management review packages
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • PMP preferred but not required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience
