Responsibilities

Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Risk and Controls Transformation spans all the ICG Business Areas, responsible for delivery of strategic regulatory and controls initiatives.
The ICG Risk and Control Transformation (New Activities) SVP will engage with project management and transformation teams across the ICG businesses to coordinate and calibrate remediation work efforts related to New Activities Program. The individual will interact across various legal entities, businesses, and risk stripes to manage underlying drivers, analysis, and facilitate the delivery of risk and control solutions. The solutions are anchored to internal requirements, regulatory commitments and industry best practices related to New Activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support initiatives required to remediate key operational risks across lines of business, functions and locations across ICG related to the New Activities Program.
- Work with specific stakeholders across lines of defense and end to end functions to define and ensure the remediation of New Activities open issues through Risk and Control transformation.
- Day to day running of specific projects and initiatives, delivering end-to-end, sustainable outcomes for the impacted lines of business and locations.
- Guide and back up resources supporting ICG wide input / tasks related to New Activities Program
- Own tasks across project management, program documentation, governance enhancements, product inventory maintenance, Product Risk Rating and Product Risk Monitoring, and New Activity governance.
- Support program governance, oversight and monitoring in accordance with Citi and ICG Program Management Policies and Standards for the ICG Risk and Controls portfolio, and specifically the New Activities Program Remediation portfolio.
- Monitor and manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Produce end-to-end program plans and tracking of progress and changes.
- Create stakeholder communications.
- Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote
Qualifications and skills:
- Min 8 years’ experience within large Financial Services organizations; focusing on New Activities / New Products / Product Governance inclusive of planning, resourcing, governance, and reporting.
- Able to provide leadership and influence in a matrix organization.
- Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and application to improved quality, controls, and efficiency
- Relevant leadership experience within a first line risk / operational risk, control or compliance function
- Good understanding of program management methodologies, frameworks, processes, tools and industry best practices.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and communication across multiple businesses, regions and functions.
