It has been created by combining the Wealth Management businesses across Citi Global Consumer Bank and Citi Private Bank.  It serves over 500,000 clients through its global footprint in Asia, EMEA, Mexico, and North America.

Citi Global Wealth Management propositions are delivered via tailored offerings across the Citigold, Citi Private Client, and Citi Private Bank brands.

The GWM Risk and Controls Transformation Head will lead at a Global level the Transformation and Integration with Consumer Wealth Businesses from a Risk and Controls Perspective (i.e. MCA, Issue Management, Regulatory Inventory, etc..). In addition, the position will have oversight of the changes to align to the Business Model and Structure resulting from the Wholesale Credit Initiative


  • Coordinates end-to-end Lending and Banking Risk and Controls (R&C) Integration Plan
  • Bring together Integration plans across Banking and Lending Businesses and Products and the Risk and Controls Master Plan
  • Orchestrate and drive the successful & timely completion of programs to achieve the business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues which impact program delivery
  • Acting as liaison between Lending and Banking R&C, Businesses, Pillar Leads, and GWM Global Transformation Leads:
  • Consistent communication with all stakeholders at all levels
  • The position requires substantial interaction and collaboration with ORM, Risk, Compliance,  Operations, and other functional business partners to optimize business needs
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all Leads,
  • Identify risks and developing risk mitigation tactics.
  • Develop change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives
  • Identifying critical interdependencies among programs
  • Escalate potential deviations to plans


  • 10+ years of business experience in related field.
  • Deep understanding of risks, controls, regulatory requirements as well as the business model and industry dynamics of a global business.
  • Background in Lending, Banking, and Wealth management products
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management
  • Proven track record of operating in a complex and varied business environment.
  • Ability to manage in matrix environment and to motivate and engage with senior control professionals
  • Knowledge of best practices in Audit, Operational Risk, Compliance, Credit and Financial Operations areas.
  • Consulting background
  • Flexibility to work with different time zones


  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience
