The Lending Process Transformation Lead will be part of the Global CLM office and will provide business leadership for all transformation efforts of the CCB Commercial Lending Management, including oversight of existing remediation work, identification of existing processes that can be simplified and managing operational readiness as it relates to the roll-out of changes to roles and responsibilities, process design, and control framework, associated with TOM implementation / CAP remediation across CCB markets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for overall coordination, management, and tracking of the operational readiness element of TOM process/procedure implementation as it related to transformation
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes to the current processes and ensuring continued smooth cooperation with ICM
  • Petition and advocate for CCB’s management and user reporting needs with ICM.  Lead reporting transformation strategy and rollout a comprehensive reporting operating module that aligns to the CCB strategic objectives.  
  • Partner with technology to deliver tools/products that provide users and management insights to actionable data views. Provide inputs around CCB target state technology.
  • Collaborate with cross functional / cross Line of Business working groups that aim to implement strategic and tactical solutions in support of the TOM 
  • Identify, track and document issues and risks where appropriate
  • Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders with well-defined status and progress against target dates
  • Responsible for escalating control gaps and issues to senior management
  • Collaborate with various internal organizations across the globe to ensure business continuity and positive Client experiences
  • Serve as the global subject matter expert for processes and procedures related to CLM transformation
  • Ensure that the organization's activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory, legal, and governmental regulations

 Critical competencies for ideal candidate:

  • Expert knowledge of credit processes and policies in Citi Commercial Bank
  • Experience with Transformation
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels and across a variety of businesses.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally / lines of business and across regions to build partnership and deliver program goals
  • Sets project plans and manages timelines to execute against program goals
  • Gains commitment from global teams from the start and communicates change effectively
  • Maintains high levels of credibility with key stakeholders within the organization and holds self and others accountable for working in an inclusive way
  • Exhibits confidence and agility during change and transition to rally others around a clear purpose/direction, and keep focus during uncertainty
  • Open to risk taking by challenging the status quo and actively encouraging others to be bold- rewarding and recognizing both successes and test and learn examples
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to deeply connect with People: good listener, expresses ideas in a confident, organized and articulate manner and demonstrates advanced influence skills


  • 7+ years in commercial lending / transformation / credit risk with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Solid knowledge of WCR policy
  • Knowledge of commercial banking lending products and processes, and the competitive landscape of this business
  • Successful record in working and managing within matrix organizations across regions is required
  • Prior experience in transformation at an enterprise scale


  • Bachelor’s/University degree preferred
