FP & A, VP - Private Banking Wealth Management
The Cost and Investment Lead Analyst position within the Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM) Sector FP&A team is a senior professional role responsible for the governance and processes associated with executive decision support for approval of third-party vendor contracts (~ $1 million +) and major investments within the US Personal Banking, Global Wealth Management and Operations & Technology lines of businesses.
The FP & A - VP, Private Banking Wealth Management is responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi’s current and projected performance.
Responsibilities:
Support the Cost & Investment Management Governance & Process Control Head finalize requests for third-party vendor contracts and business cases submitted for review and approval by the Cost & Investment Council (CIC)
Manage the end-to-end Operations and Technology Business Cost Review (BCR) process for review and approval of third-party vendor contracts and business cases. Liaise with Program Managers to finalize submissions, preparing the agenda, hosting the meetings, and distributing minutes and follow-ups.
Collaborate with Business, Finance and Procurement managers to provide support, compliance with Policies, and necessary due diligence with the finalization of cost and investment requests submitted for approval
Support the Business-Led-Investment Governance Process including coordination of the quarterly investment performance review decks, performance reporting for the Executive Management Team (EMT), variance analysis for Strategic Investments, and Performance Highlights for quarterly earnings
Support with the tracking of PBWM Consulting Engagements, Sector FP&A Business Monitoring & Control activities, and Ad-hoc analytics
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst preferably within a financial institution or banking environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations
Strong analytical abilities and intellectual curiosity to identify business needs, formulate innovative and strategic solutions and follow through with detailed execution
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Power BI or Tableau experience preferred.
Familiarity with Citi systems a plus (PEARL, P2P, BAW, COGNOS TM1)
