The Global Equities Franchise – an approx. $5.0 billion revenue segment within Global Markets - is comprised of following Global Trading businesses namely: Equity Cash, Derivatives, Prime Finance, Delta 1 and Futures. Global Equities has trading desks in over 30 countries and market access in over 70 countries.

Equities FP&A Head designs and executes processes for facilitating insights related to Citi’s Equities Sales and Trading financial results (both actuals and forward looking) and associated business drivers in coordination with the broader Finance team and the business managers. The role requires the design and implementation of these analytics to be well-governed, documented and monitored for compliance with internal policies, modeling requirements and firmwide capital planning standards


  • Design and continuously enhance analytical processes and associated governance that clearly summarize financial trends, provide insight to senior management and delivers for Equities business, annual, quarterly and monthly forward looking financials
  • With the help of facts, analytics (including KPIs), and concise storytelling, advise on directional strategy and provide guidance on significant business/product decisions
  • Create and maintain analytics to support Capital and Expense resource optimization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
  • Inspire, motivate and drive excellence for the offshore and on-shore teams supporting Equities LFO teams

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Extremely organized and have action bias
  • Credibility and gravitas to lead, motivate and influence a diverse population across geographies, products and matrix reporting lines
  • Superior problem solving skills; pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Great sense of humor
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience within financial services
  • Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
