Director, Stress Capital Strategy & Management (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend business strategies for managing the outcomes from the regulatory stress testing results
- Establish clear business guidance and targets to integrate Stress Capital Buffer (SCB) expectations into planning
- Engage with modeling and quant teams to evaluate and assess the regulatory stress testing results
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve data-driven decision-making around the SCB
- Advise senior leaders on the identification and prioritization of stress modeling methodologies and emerging risks
- Manage and direct teams with oversight of direct and indirect teams
- Partner closely with the Capital Stress Testing team to benchmark DFAST / SCB results to internal stress testing outcomes
- Recommend engagement with internal teams regarding DFAST / SCB topics
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience within financial services
- Clear understanding of financial products on a bank's balance sheet
- Deep knowledge of regulatory stress testing regulations and modeling methodologies
- Solid understanding of stress testing function within a bank
- Experience understanding and evaluating stress testing model results
- Established effective leadership, management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated excellence in collaboration and partnership
- Clear concise communication skills, both oral and written – critical story telling capabilities
- Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to multi-task and ability to work under pressure

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
