The manager taking this role will be focused on creating multi relationship customers through targeted marketing to cards customers. The primary responsibility of this manager will be management of digital investment solutions marketing to the cards portfolio across all channels. They will support end-to-end campaign management, strategy, and execution of both Citi Wealth Builder (robo advisor product) and Citi Invest (self-directed brokerage product) marketing campaigns. The role will look to drive engagement and registration for the product through email, mobile, and digital marketing communications, with potential expansion to other channels. The role will require close coordination with other marketing partners in developing and aligning on creative strategies. Additionally, this role will be responsible for metric reporting, expense forecasting, and adhering to all legal and compliance control requirements. Keys to success will be developing and leveraging strong partnerships with internal teams, stakeholders and subject matter experts such as Decision Management, Product, Legal and Compliance, and other Marketing partners.  

General responsibilities include:

  • Manage creative development across channels including marketing brief process; Channel implementation, List work instructions; Offer fulfillment; Internal communications to the field 
  • Ideate innovative ways to grow business through marketing strategies and various touchpoints to attract lifetime engaged customers
  • Build integrated customer contact strategy for new wealth campaigns as part of broader existing Retail to Cards campaign efforts
  • Partner with Citi cross-functional teams to drive and influence testing, roadmap, and channel implementation
  • Oversee flawless customer facing marketing and operational excellence
  • Evaluate program performance to drive future strategies, optimize existing channel performance and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness and customer experience
  • Identify and influence new strategic opportunities to grow accounts and assets under management (AUM)
  • Effective communication of marketing strategies and performance results
  • Actively monitor competitive investment and wealth marketspace
  • Identify strategic and tactical initiatives to provide a sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace
  • Influence key stakeholders and marketing leadership teams

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of wealth/investments experience, which may have included development of marketing, product or offer strategy, or actively managing channel(s) to target prospects or existing customers
  • Ability to build collaborative environment across departments and partners
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams and establish strong followership
  • Ability to dive into the details while coordinating multiple projects with varying timelines
  • Willingness to take on wealth marketing efforts outside of existing campaigns
  • Personal accountability and decisiveness in a strong work ethic culture
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to capture market share while focusing on managing costs and improving efficiencies
  • Resourceful and pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought
  • A proven track record of utilizing segmentation strategy for account growth
  • Ability to step in to role and pick up programs and projects mid-stream and manage them to completion
  • The ability to adapt to changes as well as thrive in a dynamic and continually evolving environment
  • Analytical skills required to report business results to management team
  • Effective verbal and written communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint with an aptitude to quickly learn new systems, platforms and software
  • No travel required

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience. Masters a plus.
