This role sits within Marketing and Franchise Development, Citi Retail Services Marketing Operations functions: Database Marketing, Program Management, Plastic Issuance and Direct Mail Production teams compose the organization which supports all channels including statement, online, email, and others. The team is critical in driving Marketing campaigns for retail card products with industry leaders including Sears, Macy’s, The Home Depot and Best Buy. Via these relationships, CRS generates $45Bn in managed assets. With a pre-eminent global brand and distribution, CRS delivers industry-leading products, advanced services and payment systems that address clients’ evolving needs.

The CRS Marketing Operations PMO is a strategic professional who will work closely with the Director and Leadership Team in all aspects of driving results and achieving strategic goals. The PMO will lead reengineering and transformation initiatives to enable scalable growth for Citi Retail Services Marketing current and future partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capacity planning in the CRS Execution organization as well as all cross-team projects with a focus on bringing thought leadership to optimizing interaction models and driving innovation through adoption of tools and platforms. This includes partnering with Marketing, Risk, Transaction Services, Martech and Decision Management to advance Drive to Common processes within CRS and across Branded Cards, Retail Bank and Mortgage marketing processes.

Experience in reengineering/transformation, Marketing and exceptional project management are essential for the role.   

Responsibilities:

  • Own capacity management across all Marketing Operations functions including assess current capacity model and partnering with other LOB's to identify best practices and evolve current state.
  • Own weekly Plan of Record updates and identify challenges well in advance of critical path; partner with relevant stakeholders to resolve.
  • Support development of and ultimately manage intake process to continually prioritize new requests to Plan of Record with focus on ensuring ROI and resolving tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team (LT) to prioritize processes for transformation including tracking performance.
  • Own day-to-day project management including providing thought leadership and impactful recommendations on strategies to transform current processes as well as tactical needs such as capturing minutes, action items, RACI and following up on deliverables.
  • Lead discussions with business stakeholders to define requirements, map processes, stand up pilots and launch.
  • Scope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, help design solutions, and quantify potential impact.
  • Craft routines to advance progress, create dashboards for reporting, assist in troubleshooting obstacles.
  • Lead strategic projects as they arrive including those related to audit, optimizing controls, and other critical business needs as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within Financial Services
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success in excellent project management skills and discipline to deliver
  • Demonstrated success with continuous process improvement
  • LEAN or Six Sigma and other relevant certifications a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to support communications to Senior Leadership
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, positive, resourceful, and proactive
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and execute across multiple initiatives independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship, and influence management skills that allow for close partnerships with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment to make smart decisions and independently problem solve, while escalating to a leader when appropriate
  • Ability to be a proactive thought leader and suggest ‘new ways of doing things
