Consumer Lending Product Management - Hybrid

As the AVP of Consumer Lending Product, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving product simplification, financial performance, and innovation roadmap of a high-visibility product. This AVP will partner cross-functionally with product management, risk, pricing, technology, and legal/compliance partners to enable best-in-class product features and an enhanced customer experience.

This position sits within the Small Business lending organization and will offer the successful candidate opportunity to support Small Business Lending Product Management. As the AVP becomes the subject matter expert for the Consumer Lending Product platform, knowledge gained will help inform the migration of other lending products to the same platform. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the transformation of the Consumer overdraft product, ensuring both near and long-term business needs are appropriately addressed in business requirements and user stories.

• Partner with Project Management Office to run project team meetings, manage project plans, ensure progress against key milestones, and raise issues for leadership review when appropriate

• Drive product simplification projects and play a key role in defining the future product vision

• Manage audit resolutions and corrective action plans where necessary to drive operational excellence (regulatory compliance, operational risk management, etc.).

• Work with lending product managers to understand customer needs to innovate and design platform capabilities and features that meet those needs.

• Identify gaps in current capabilities that limit opportunities for growth and develop business cases in support of initiatives for addressing those gaps.

• Develop a deep understanding of tech platform requirements to inform journey of migration of other lending products to the platform

• Balance competing priorities, prioritize requirements and ensure timely delivery of features to enable growth.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders

• Knowledge of banking products; consumer or small business lending product experience a plus

• Intellectual agility. High degree of comfort with ambiguity. Innovative thinker with the ability to challenge the status quo and devise creative solutions to solve problems and overcome hurdles

• Ability to work unsupervised, handle multiple, competing objectives and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

• An analytical mind, the ability to solve complex problems and streamline processes

• Ability to take a risk-based approach to issues, think critically and ask difficult question

• Working knowledge of industry practices and standards

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Demonstrated ability to influence partners

• A high bar for customer outcomes, defining and delivering the highest standards for our customers
