Citi Alliance Institutional Relationship Manager reports to Citi Alliance leadership and will help manage and originate relationships with wealth management institutions, assist in building and maintaining presentation materials, and manage business development operational flow. A professional must posses industry knowledge and contacts continuing to stay abreast of developments within the wealth management industry, feintech, and banking/global markets industry changes. Will contribute to Citi Alliance growth strategy. Requires commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and external institutional partners. Significant impact through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage and originate relationships with wealth management institutions participating in the new Citi Alliance program
  • Serves as a key liaison for wealth institutions and will be responsible for supporting the profitable growth of the portfolio, ensuring that marketing and financial/business plans are delivered while strengthening the client relationship.
  • Consistently deliver quality customer and client experiences.
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with wealth institutions and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and implement strategic initiatives to drive profitable sales growth
  • Develop and execute strategic/tactical initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Manage client and pipeline reporting.
  • Assist in the creation and management of project plans for Citi Alliance
  • Create innovative and appealing product concepts and communications.
  • Analyze program results to improve performance and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain marketing strategies with partner and internal resources.
  • Create and manage task plans to accomplish business plan objectives.
  • Financial planning and forecasting - ensure plan is achieved and recognize, anticipate and create solutions to address financial shortfalls.
  • Maintain contract compliance including reporting requirements and service level agreements.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant experience
  • Series 7 and 63 licensed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Finance. Must have experience in sales/marketing, product or project management and client/relationship management experience.
  • MBA desirable. Private label credit or bankcard industry experience preferred.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • High-energy, self-motivated individual with the ability to drive results with a sense of urgency, ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration at all levels of the organization.
  • Forward thinker with the flexibility to adapt to and drive change in a dynamic business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
