The CIM Sales Wealth at Work AVP is a position responsible for supporting the CIM (Citi Investment Management) business in the Wealth at Work segment, inclusive of delivering third party, CIM managed, and multi-asset class solutions across North America. This person will report into the Head of CIM Sales for Wealth at Work. This role will sell the go to market strategy for the client segment, execute against that plan and be responsible for all aspects related to sales of CIM products to the client base.  The major activities will include (1) the wholesale and internal education of the CIM platform (2) the uncovering of pipeline through specific sales campaigns and efforts and (3) the support of each sale on an individualized basis as required (including pitches, portfolio consideration, pricing requests, etc.) This role will work in a collaborative nature with all stakeholders across CGW, including Bankers, ICs, Client PMs, Portfolio Managers, Product Development, Communications, and risk & control partners. They will also help drive the collaboration through other parts of CGW’s products such as Alts and capital markets. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Wealth at Work financial plan to grow AUM with this growing investor base
  • Drive sales of Traditional Investment Products for the Wealth at Work Client Segment in CIM  
  • New product and capability idea generation
  • Continuously track sales performance and accelerate an integrated sales model
  • Streamline processes, establish and review KPIs needed to grow the business
  • Active engagement with CIM NAM team in executing the strategic priorities for the region, new investment product priorities, and both short and long term investment

Qualifications:

  • 3+  years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience as an internal wholesaler or sales within the asset management industry
  • Proven sales skills & relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of the investment management industry
  • Track record as a collaborative partner
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Expressed interest in investments, e. (years in industry, CFA candidate or completion)


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
