Citi Global Wealth is a Division of Citi focused on serving the needs of clients across the entire wealth spectrum. It has been created by combining the Wealth Management businesses across Citi Global Consumer Bank and Citi Private Bank.  It serves over 500,000 clients through its global footprint in Asia, EMEA, Mexico, and North America.

CIM deliver’s investment solutions designed to meet the unique goals and objectives of CGW client’s. Institutional quality portfolio management, research, due diligence and oversight provide the foundation for CIM’s comprehensive investment strategies.  We offer core portfolios and opportunistic investments that seek to take advantage of timely and relevant market opportunities through our discretionary managed accounts and third-party investment offerings. 

The Product Manager is responsible for setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product
  • Develop project artefacts as required, including project plans (leading, monitoring and maintaining), solution options, operating models, business requirements, process flows, operational procedures, controls, communications and client account migration approaches
  • Oversee day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Lead and manage project committees; prepare and present to senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, legal, compliance and sales
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage vendor relationships, and prepare agreements
  • Act as a liaison between Bankers/Financial Advisors and third party investment managers to address product related inquiries

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
  • A proven project manager/business analyst with an ability to multi-task, plan, prioritize and drive implementation across a business
  • Very strong business analysis skills (defining business and technology requirements) delivering mid-scale implementations with Front Office, Control Functions and Infrastructure partners
  • Functional experience product development
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with fee based advisory programs would be beneficial

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functional lines
  • Professional outlook with the ability to use initiative, manage deadlines, coordinate multiple tasks and work to deadlines and targets
  • Accuracy & Attention to detail
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills in order to represent salient points succinctly
  • Good presentation abilities, especially when presenting to Senior Management

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
