The core function of the role is to service and expand the key multi-national corporate Travel and Purchase card relationship. The core of the role are to maintain client satisfaction, support and drive program growth initiatives, while at the same time working to create a more efficient program and reduce the cost of service delivery. The role will require proactive monitoring and management of program metrics to achieve objectives.

Work will include regular client meetings to identify new cardable solutions, solve problems, maintain service levels and address strategic issues. In addition, the Account Manager will work with the client for a seamless global rollout of the Commercial Card program. Work include on-site engagement at client's locations.  This role requires the engagement and leadership of a diverse set of internal partners to deliver services and solutions and will require leadership of internal partners in a coordinated fashion.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Business Reviews

  • Program Optimization

  • Product opportunity identification

  • New volume source identification

  • Calibration of product mix utilization

  • Rebate review and best practices to maximize earnings

  • Share latest technology enhancements and product roadmaps

  • Discuss and share industry trends

  • Provide guidance on program best practices, share from both industry level and similar companies

  • Global footprint expansion

  • Contract changes (including modifications or new entities)

  • Assist with all divestiture activities (including spin-offs, acquisitions and TSA)

  • Alignment with Operations partners, including Operations participation in global program reviews

  • This is a position within Cash & Trade, with exposure to clients across various industries and partnerships with other product areas such as cash management and commercial cards. The account manager role develops relationship management skills that can be used in broader coverage and relationship management roles within TTS.

  • This role provides a significant opportunity to further develop client-facing skills in leading issue resolution, driving company objectives, and project management.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of banking experience, including 4+ years of global commercial card experience

  • High energy level, a strong work ethic and continuous desire to learn

  • Proven strategic and analytical abilities; excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships

  • In depth knowledge of trade products including standby letters of credit, commercial letters of credit, and documentary collections.

  • High degree of professionalism

  • Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting systems
