A critical element of our Transformation is ensuring that we have the necessary tools to plan, execute and ultimately bring transparency to the transformation initiatives at Citi. 

The Technology Tooling Team under CAO is looking for a Program Management Lead who will oversee initiatives in the Tooling landscape end to end, enabling the clear definition and delivery of solutions and enhancements, with specific leadership in implementing and managing a data governance program.  The Program Management Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within their own job and the business – a liaison between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology Team. 

Excellent communication skills are required in order to bring key stakeholders together to define requirements and negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and inter-personal skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical and delivery strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of projects while adhering to Citi processes and guidelines.

  • Participate in the selection of a data governance tool and lead the implementation

  • Bring transparency to the CO data set, specifically with establishing ownership and golden sources across the CO Process Area

  • Manage the ongoing governance and oversight of CO data

  • Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards

  • Review requests in conjunction with technology team and assesses for system impact and feasibility

  • Collaborates with Data and Reporting Teams to ensu      re cross communication and planning concerning new requests

  • Works closely with key stakeholders to contribute in the drafting of business requirements for larger initiatives and solutions, often with multiple impacts and dependencies

  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of key process and system roadmaps within the CO Tooling portfolio

  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships. Directs the creation of multiple programs of work and manage their alignment to business goals.

  • Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.

  • Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work.

  • Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives. Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.

  • Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate.

  • Exercises shared responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning. Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions

  • Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a technology oriented environment

  • Should demonstrate a commitment to follow through, exhibiting quality and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to collaborate across the team as well as with Stakeholders

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Good knowledge of Project and Program Management practices, processes and tools

  • Experience documenting requirement and process flows as well as collaborating with technical teams

  • Project Management certification (PMP, SaFe, or any Agile project management certification)

  • Experience delivering Transformation Programs

  • Experience with data architecture programs, governance tools and processes

  • Experience in collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams
