Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for this position are:

  • Support Wholesale data governance and CFO attestations
  • Support big data management and Y14 remediation projects
  • Enhance controls over data quality, perform periodic sample testing, and data analysis to monitor and track data quality and completeness of data
  • Perform gap assessments and impact analysis on data and risk reporting
  • Performs business analysis to support the response to regulatory, business, and internal audit questions
  • Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of new regulatory requirements, participate/contribute to large group discussions, and help drive initiatives to conclusion
  • Develop documentation on Critical Data Element (CDE) inventory, data quality controls and review process

Qualifications:

The position requires the ability to define and articulate complex data requirements and rules with internal business partners and cooperate with multiple stakeholders.  The core strengths required for this position include but are not limited to:

  • The individual should be proactive, analytical, organized, flexible and team-oriented
  • Ability to manage fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and produce value added analysis for review and management decisions
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation).
  • Advanced data analytical skill such as MS Access, SAS, R and SQL is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experiences in financial services industry, managing Regulatory exams and Audits is preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting (CCAR FR Y-14Q) is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree at minimum, advanced degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Engineering is a plus
