AVP / VP - Equity Quantitative Research Analyst
Citi Research is a highly respected research unit and is comprised of more than 290 research analysts in more than 20 locations around the world. Within Citi Research is the Global Quantitative Research team - a highly respected research franchise dedicated to developing equity quantitative models and assisting clients in the management of their Investment portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Writing of new and periodic research papers/documents independently
- Marketing of team’s research to institutional client base and internal sales/ sales trading team
- Developing and collaborating with other analysts on new research projects
- Development and maintenance of quantitative models and databases
- Maintaining and developing marketing materials
- Other ad hoc tasks or projects
- Provide guidance to junior team members (demonstrate leadership)
Qualifications:
- 4+ years relevant work experience or empirical equity research experience in an academic environment
- Strong analytical and programming skills in R / Python are essential, working knowledge of databases is a plus
- Distill research into an investable thesis and write report/note
- Market ideas to internal constituents and clients via phone calls and client marketing trips
- Conduct independent research (regulatory controlled)
- Secure and maintain applicable licenses.

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree or more preferred
