This position is part of the Existing Customer Engagement team, within the larger US Customer Analytics organization. The Existing Customer Engagement analytics team is responsible for conducting financial and statistical analyses to drive consumer engagement and business insights and strategies to support business growth within the North America business, across Cards and Bank. Analyses will focus on the development of comprehensive strategy recommendations based on multiple factors with an in-depth understanding of customer behavior (analytically derived); sound financial impact forecasting and thorough understanding of competitive landscape. This role is to analytically drive recommendations across the Add-a-card program to grow Citi cards customer engagement with new & relevant product offers using best in class tools and use of advanced modelling techniques using SAS, R, Python in a big data environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analytically drive recommendations for all Add-a-card programs to grow Citi cards customer engagement with new & relevant product offers using best in class tools and use of advanced modelling and analytical techniques.

  • Recommend and design testing around offer constructs/value prop, population selection, contact strategy optimization, segmentation, etc to further learnings and enhance expansion opportunities for customer engagement through Add-a-card campaigns.

  • Develop analytically derived omni-channel targeting, offer, and communication strategies to drive profitable long-term customer engagement.  

  • Manage the process to build financial forecasts supporting all Add-a-card campaigns, provide guidance on how to structure campaigns to optimize profitability.

  • Oversee the annual plan by coordinating with marketing partners and driving the analysis to support marketing spend and ensuring adherence to financial and risk guidelines..

  • Identify actionable customer insights based on internal and external customer behavioral and financial data.

  • Work closely with business partners in Decision Management, Risk Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Compliance. Collaborate / influence business partners to implement strategies capitalizing on opportunities identified through risk-return analysis. 

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working experience in any quantitative field; Financial services experience preferred

  • Strong analytical and practical problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of the consumer lending market, customer life cycle, and P&L.

  • Business knowledge of existing customer treatments and impact.

  • Strong understanding of optimization and financial forecasting processes, and advanced analytics tools & techniques.

  • Strong understanding of database structures with proficiency in R, Python, SAS preferred

  • Strong analytic thinking, and partnership skills


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with background in Statistics, Economics, Business, Operations Research or similar discipline. Master's degree preferred.
