Americas Banking, Custody & Cash Management Pricing Specialist, VP

Overview of the Organization

The Americas Banking & Custody team is the product management organization within the Citi Global Wealth, covering North America and Latin America Private Bank and Wealth @ Work. The team is responsible for the strategic direction of core products, including Banking, Custody/ Safekeeping Services, and Cards.Clients for these services include Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Families, Family Offices, Professional Firms/ Associates/ Partners, Registered Investment Advisors, Hedge Funds and Private Equity firms.

Role & Responsibilities

This position reports into Citi Private Bank’s Americas Banking, Custody & RRE Pricing & Reporting Head.The individual will be responsible for:

·Support Pricing for North America and Latin America deposits

oHelp set standard pricing and review current client deposit pricing and opportunities for spread enhancements

oStay abreast of the short-term market, deposit trends and proposed transfer pricing changes in order to analyze the resulting financial impact on the business

oSynthesize feedback from Sales Specialists and Bankers in the field and publishing competitive intel on rates internally within the Banking & Custody (B&C) team in order to stay competitive and adjust our pricing strategy as needed

oEngaging with Bankers in order to ensure that all requests for pricing are not only within policy, but are competitive enough for us to win incremental LCR-friendly deposits

·Supporting Business Strategy, Business Reviews and P&L Forecasting

oHelp with deposit optimization initiatives covering different deposit portfolios

oAnalyze client profitability across product portfolios and execute strategy aimed to increase margin

oWork with Banking Specialists in client discussions to understand client needs and determine opportunities for further client penetration

·Risk & Compliance

oEnsure that all procedures and processes are in line with Pricing Standard

·Communication

oEnsure that pricing and disclosures to Bankers via the B&C Intranet are up to date and accurately reflect the product offering and pricing

Qualifications

Experience

·3 to 5 years of Deposit Pricing, or Balance Sheet, or Treasury experience

·Demonstrated track record of working with multi-functional partners as well as influencing within a matrix organization

·Project management experience with demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency

Skills

·Excellent written and verbal communication + interpersonal skills with the ability to present internally and externally with partners, senior management and clients

·Ability to navigate and analyze large data sets; strong Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills. Qlik knowledge is a plus.

·Highly collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt to changing environment and systems.

·Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve problems

·Ability to think outside the box to effectively improve processes

·Highly organized and responsive

·Self-motivated and goal orientated
