Responsibilities
The IT Business Unit Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Excellent analytical skills are required in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
The role will serve as a strategic partner to various leads across our TTS Digital Technology organization key areas such as Resource Management, Location Strategy and Financial Planning. Requires strong analytical skills to be able to prioritize and validate complex material from various sources in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and governance to Headcount budgeting and forecasting for the TTS Digital Technology Organization.
- Manage headcount forecasting including the review of New Resource requests (Direct Staff, Third Party Vendors) against financial and location objectives.
- Liaison with Finance team for forecast deliverables on a weekly basis to ensure consistency with the outlook expectations.
- Responsible for providing Monthly Outlook forecast for headcount and maintaining accuracy in Renault System and technology portfolio tracking system.
- Track and review spending trends, identifying inconsistencies and resolve related issues, ensure proper payment schedules and payments- robust analysis and interpretation of data, spotting trends and variances and providing business-focused reporting commentary.
- Analyze, develop and communicate risk and opportunities and ensure forecasts align with OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to proactive drive resolution of discrepancies.
- Complete periodic deliverables including technology program forecasts for Product management and ad hoc requests related to the progress of key tech initiatives.
- Operate with a limited level of direct supervision while showing ability to perform other job duties and functions across the TTS Tech Business Office.
- Provide SME Support to the TTS Tech Organization by demonstrating advanced understanding of processes, procedures, and policies.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how other functional areas collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving Business Office objective.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in a financial planning role.
- Experience in a IT/Technology or Financial Services industry atmosphere preferred
- Strong quantitative / analytical skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: comfortable with Excel, able to design and maintain forecast models, leverage pivot tables, macros, etc... to manage large data sets; PowerPoint to create presentations, and proficiency in reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects, Hyperion, Microstrategy)
- Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - will have interaction with senior technology and business managers.
- Proven ability of planning and executing medium range and long term strategic goals.
- Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business front office and global functions colleagues.
- Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations.
