The Risk Reporting Intmd. Analyst provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. This role within Global Consumer CCAR office is responsible for automating CCAR forecast analysis results review process, create cycle/cycle and scenario/scenario CCAR results comparison, creating and automating Sr. Management reports, run and stablish new MIS reporting , working together with central CCAR team, FP&A, PPNR and RWA work stream teams. This role requires excellent communication skills and knowledge in automation (VBA, EXCEL, ACCESS, TABLEU, SAS, JAVA) and development and maintenance of analysis tools.    



Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility covers, automate and create trend analysis for CCAR forecast results, cycle/cycle and scenario/scenario comparison.
  • Automate the CCAR results analysis process by creating/maintaining tools to increase the efficiency.
  • Create, maintain and establish new MIS
  • Creating Sr. Management reports for reviewing CCAR results
  • Provide analysis at product/model level of CCAR model results for purpose of understanding trends and overlay adjustments.
  • Work together with the FP&A, PPNR, RWA and Central CCAR teams for CCAR results review.
  • Ensure adherence to with GAAP and instructions from regulatory authorities
  • Adhere to Citi policy and regulatory guidelines at all levels
  • Provides information to Risk Management and the business for audit, stress testing and ad-hoc related queries/reports.
  • Develops and maintains close working relationship with Risk Management, Business Units and other Control functions. Raise, investigate and follow-up on issues related to data quality, limit excesses, etc.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6.5 years work experience in finance or a related control discipline (e.g. Risk Management, Financial Control, Audit, Operations, etc.). Experience in Analytics/Senior Management Reporting is desirable
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Extensive knowledge in using MS Excel including all Excel functions (formulas, pivots, VBA) and Access and other MS office tools
  • Working knowledge in Tableau.  
  • Working knowledge in SAS/PYTHON is desirable
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of data analytics and development of tools for analysis
  • Experience in multinational consumer bank portfolio management function is preferable
  • Experience in CCAR/Regulatory reporting is preferable.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis or a track record that demonstrates high aptitude to learn these skills
  • The position requires exceptional work ethics, solid communication skills, and ability to multitask and work against deadlines.
  • Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. Field of study in Business Analytics or Economics preferred.
