Role Outline/Job Summary

Regional Sales Manager will head a team of Business Development Managers and Sales Managers who are responsible for acquiring customers across both liabilities and assets for Retail bank.RSM will be responsible for driving acquisition strategy to ensure product level goals are achieved. In addition to acquisition, the incumbent should stay abreast of developments within their own field and contribute to directional strategy.

Core Responsibilities:

Scale up Business - Identify opportunities to expand reach and business footprint. Identify the universe for the location, with corporate of relevance, split, mandate corporates and analyze the sourcing trend, company penetration along with estimated employee strengthMarket Intelligence - Understand the industry trends and keep an eye on competition strategy w.r.t to sourcing, technology and innovationsScale up Digital - D2C& DAO- Direct to Customer sourcing as per plan and ensure 50% sourcing through Digital account opening processCustomer Relationship Deepening; maximize penetration across products, Customer focused need based selling Work on initiatives to improve salary upload, overall balance sheet growth and retention strategyOTC (Own the Corporate) - Deepen penetration and CDM engagement with focus on migrationCOR (Corporate of Relevance) - Ensure growth in market share


         1. Monthly reiteration of Dos and Don’ts and create a

             strong culture of controls and compliance within the team.

         2. Keep the team updated on lessons  learnt

         3. Ensure lowest TAT & FTR for the location

         4. Ensure compliance and integrity of the sales process

             with respect to right selling, sourcing and documentation.

People :

Drive high performance culture amongst the team and create an environment congenial for people to share best practices for the overall growth of the team.         Review people performance in a structured / periodical manner and outline a process to review feedbackIdentify training opportunities and enable trainings to constantly upskill the team.Manage AttritionDiscipline in Trainings; Certifications; HR related time lines adherenceEnsure adherence to operational risk controls and accuracy of procedures in day to day sales managementIdentify business risks and engage with all stakeholders in order to correct them and take preventive/corrective action as appropriate.
